We had a wonderful stay at Seikoro. The place was impeccable, extremely friendly and accommodating staff. They were able to serve vegan breakfast. The bed was amazing. Absolutely recommend this place when in Kyoto!

Location was good, although a few minutes walking distance from major sights and attractions. But all doable by foot or bike and metro station connecting to Kyoto central station is close by (3 mins).
Convenience stores around the corner (Family Mart, 7 Eleven) as well as restaurants and a superb (!!!) coffee place (named In the Coffee).
Staff were friendly and helpful. Possibility to store luggage upon early arrival as well as late departure. Would be nice to have a safe/lockbox in-room, but we just took our valuables (esp. passports & wallets) with us when leaving the room. Didn't have breakfast or dinner but there were special offers, happy hour and even a DJ hosting the evenings available. Looked nice.
Room is small - as expected in Japan - but everything available that's needed and options to store luggage under the bed.
Would definitely recommend and come back when in Kyoto again! Arigato gozaimashita, ASAI Kyoto team.

This hotel has an excellent location that made exploring the area so convenient. Our room was spacious and came with all the amenities we needed, including laundry facilities right in the room which was incredibly helpful. I liked everything about this hotel! It is in a calm area yet close to all the "must-see and must-experience" sights in Kyoto. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and the bakery and workspace downstairs made my day! Don't forget to finish your long day at the rooftop bar in front of a cosy fireplace, sipping Negroni and enjoying the moment.
