Very well located, just 5 minutes walk to Takashimaya entrance. Very courtious staff, free water bottles, very quite property, with Onsen for hotel guest. We would surely live here again on our next trip.

Amazing hospitality in a wonderful establishment. The staff does everything they can to make the stay unique, memorable, luxurious and comfortable.
The public bath is nice and relaxing. The dinner and breakfast is unlike anything I would typically experience as a westerner.
Kyoto can be very intense sometimes, and this establishment provided us with an escape when needed.

This hotel is such a gem! Super new, with an unbeatable bakery, and a nice rooftop view. The ladies at the front desk were super kind and helpful (the guy we asked for extra amenities less), and the baker was so nice and smiley! The pastries and toasts were so good, as well as the cocktail we had on the rooftop, with the view of Kiyomizu-dera (be aware that lights turn off at 22:45!). The room was spatious and water was always topped up, which is a super nice touch. We haven't had the chance to try the restaurant, although we were given tokens for welcome drinks, but we'll definitely come back here next time we are in Kyoto as the location is super and service was top-notch! They also have washing machines/driers available, as well as a meditation room and gym.
