The dinner and breakfast were absolutely amazing. The food is some of the best Washoku I have had in a long long time. The room had a massive double king bed and a beautiful view of the ocean. The private onsen was also so amazing. Apparently, one of the taxi drivers my partner and I took mentioned that Emperor Hirohito back in Showa 1954 had apparently stayed at this location many years ago. That should pretty much describe how amazing this place is.

Very clean when we arrived. The staff was kind to arrange some more pots and pans when we requested and was also kind to arrange taxi on the day of check out. Yunokawa onsen tram stop is within 8 min walking distance to take downtown. There are departmental stores znd convenience stores nearby.

Ichinomatsu is a traditional ryokan with a hot spring bath. I love the atmosphere in this type of lodging - very relaxing and with people ready to take care of the logistics around you. Breakfast and dinner served to perfection in your room. Short stroll to a big bath for the guests - perfectly maintained. View to a small japanese style garden. Very relaxing two days.

Although the room is a smaller than I expecte, it is a very comfortable one. The onsens are good and the breakfast is excellent with lots of choices. The hotel staff are very helpful and nice. Definitely the hotel is my number one choice and I will come back again.
