The location was great - quite close to the train station, within close distance to main attractions and also in a great, vibrant neighborhood with lots to do.
The room was actually even better than it looked in the pictures and the staff were super polite and spoke great English. They also gave us recommendations, offered a boat tour and kept our luggage for a few hours on the last day.
Price for Venice was also pretty good, considering that to stay in the good areas is quite expensive.

We had a fabulous stay at the Palazzo Odoni! The staff were so helpful and accommodating, and they gave us advice, maps, and directions for places to eat and things to see in the city. We (three adults) stayed in one of the "Superior Rooms," which had two beds (basically a queen bed and day bed) and worked well for us. The breakfast in the morning was great--it included a nice selection of beverages, cheese, bread, snacks, and treats, plus toast and eggs made to order. The hotel is only about a 10-12 minute walk from the bus or train station, and well situated for exploring Venice. Staying here made our Venice visit easy and fun.

Very well positioned in Venice, stylish and very comfortable and in a quieter quarter. The owner is knowledgable passionate about her city and very very helpful in steering us to the right places at the right time to miss the crowds. Catarina was one of the main reasons we absolutely enjoyed Venice and want to come back. If you are a Breakfast person it is varied with good fruit which you order the day before.
