breakfast is absolutely fantastic. not just the food (and the excellent coffee served to the table), but the room as well. I sat on the "balcony" overlooking the canal with a perfect cappuccino and brioche. heaven. the room was also wonderful, as well as the good location.

The room was a little small but really, really comfortable, the location and the welcoming coffees and sweets, this is a great hotel and my only regret was not staying here for a longer period. The location is unbeatable, close to everything. Just as a heads up, don't do like us and take the vaporetto instead of walking there from the train station.

The standard of the room facilities and the location are perfect.
Breakfast is also very good, however i suggest another point for coffee and juices , maybe near the bar area to help.

The property is located very close to Piazza San Marco, and based in a central area where restaurants, gondola rides, corner shops and boat stops are very close by. The hotel itself is of Venetian style, with beautiful chandeliers, carpets, rugs, paintings etc. ALL the staff were exceptional in every way, and were extremely kind and attentive. Always happy to help and greeted with a warm smile. The room was well equipped with a TV and a mini fridges. The beds were very comfortable, and bathroom was a decent size. Every aspect of the hotel including the room, bathroom and reception area was extremely clean and overall a wonderful experience. Would 100% stay here again, and recommend to anyone!

Hotel Al Codega was amazing! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful from the very beginning — they even arranged a water taxi to pick us up at the train station, which made our arrival so much smoother.
The location was phenomenal: within a 15-minute walk, we could reach all of Venice’s main attractions. Despite being so central, the hotel is tucked away in a quiet courtyard, which gave us a peaceful retreat after long days of exploring.
Breakfast and the hotel facilities were great — everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. We’re really happy to have found this hotel and to have had it as part of our Italy journey!
