This hotel was amazing. The room is spectacularly decorated. Is big and spacious with two bathrooms with all the amenities you need. The location is within walking distance from the Rialto Bridge which makes it convenient to catch the water bus or taxi. It also has a boat dock which allows you to take good pictures of the bridge and the city. But, what made this stay so special was the host. They are very attentive and will go out of their way to make sure you have a pleasant stay. We had to leave very early in the morning which meant that we couldn't have breakfast and they were so kind as to prepare breakfast for us so that we had something to eat on our way to Milan. They also allowed us to check in early and had the room ready for us when we arrived. Lastly, the owner gave us a map of Venice and explain to us the best things to see and eat which I thought was great.

Just wow.. staying in Venice Venice Hotel is one of the absolute best hospitality experiences of our life. It was like this cosy sophisticated and seductive place was competing with the Venice itself. It was honestly hard to leave it to go see Venice!
We ended up having our breakfast (on a cute private deck on the Grand Canal), 'aperitivos' and dinners in the hotel the whole stay.
Our mesmerising room took our breath away when we walked in. It overlooked the canal with a private balcony... every detail in our space was meticulously studied and encompassed the very essence of refined, contemporary aesthetics. We were surrounded by subtle art and unique design. The service was luxurious.. every person of staff we came in contact with emanated readiness to help, good naturedness, responsibility, enthusiasm and warmth. We were taken care of from the beginning till the very last moment with an exceptional care that made us feel like we were or the most important guests, or.. their only guests.
Now THAT is what true luxury feels like.

The staff went above and beyond from the moment we arrived. We were also spoilt with a bottle of Prosecco in our room, as it was our honeymoon - this was a simple but lovely touch. The room is comfortable and modern and the location is fantastic - not just central but I can't stress enough how wonderful the view from the front is. You pay massive premiums for the restaurants along the canals but at Hotel L'Orologio you get it every morning for breakfast and every evening for drinks. Highly recommended and the only place we'll stay for future visits to Venice!

The staff were exceptional. There was a local 24 hour public bus and water-boat strike the day we arrived. The hotel informed us in advance and provided detailed information on alternative ways to travel from airport to hotel.
The location is excellent near the Rialto bridge with a quiet route (5 min walk) to St Marks Square right beside the hotel. The rooms were very comfortable and quiet. Internet is free. The breakfast is excellent. We look forward to staying here again soon.
