The staff was extremely welcoming and made us feel like we were family returning home. Personal, warm and professional with a lit of charm. Superb breakfast served indoors or outside with a large array of Sicilian spécialités with different highlights every day. A three star property with 4 star appeal. The property is set in a nice quiet street but near to the shopping area, food outlets. It is well presented, tastefully decorated, comfortable, clean.There is an elevator which is helpful for older people and for the luggage. Rooms are spacious. Buffet breakfast served is super simple ample with choices. Staff so friendly.

Grand Hotel Et Des Palmes is an elegant Art Nouveau building, right outside the restricted traffic area. It is a 5-minute walk from Palermo’s Massimo and Politeama Theatres.

Upon arrival, I was extremely pleased with the whole check-in procedure as the owner made me feel as welcome as he could. The service is professional with a touch of Mediterranean warmth which never goes amiss. My room was impeccably clean and I had my clothes picked up and dry-cleaned in a matter of hours. We stayed at Palazzo Pantaleo some years ago and found that the owner and manager, Sr. Guiseppe, does an outstanding job. His place is spotless and everything works perfectly, and he is personally on call mornings and evenings to answer any questions about the property or tourist attractions in Palermo. There is a lovely breakfast, and the location of the property is as central as you could ask for in Palermo. By all means book this property. You will be delighted.

Very nice B&B place with extremely welcoming host and staff! Room seems to be practically new, very clean and comfortable. Room also has big balcony with view to theatre. Breakfast is very good and served with kind and helpful staff. Highly recommended!
