Staying at Hotel Castrum during our visit to Grado was an absolutely wonderful experience. The hotel exceeded our expectations in so many ways, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The room were extremely comfortable and well air-conditioned, making it a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The hotel itself is new and modern, with a very convenient elevator that added to the ease of our stay. Its location in the heart of the old town was ideal—everything we wanted to see was just a short walk away. At the same time, the hotel is tucked slightly off the main streets, so we were spared the noise and bustle, which made for peaceful evenings. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. A special thank you to the lovely Polish lady who showed us where to find a fantastic free beach and recommended a restaurant with the best Neapolitan pizza in town. Another staff member went out of her way to lend us her personal bottle opener when we needed one. These small but meaningful gestures made us feel so welcome and well cared for. We were also impressed with how the owners accommodated our need for secure parking, going out of their way to arrange it for us. The breakfasts were fantastic—everything was fresh and delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. We particularly enjoyed sitting at the outdoor tables, savoring our meal under the open sky, surrounded by the charm of the Italian old town. As for Grado itself, the town is simply extraordinary—full of grace, elegance, character, and authentic charm. It’s a place that leaves a long lasting impression, and I truly hope to return one day. When I do, I will undoubtedly choose to stay at Hotel Castrum again. To the owners and staff, thank you so much for everything. The accomodation was really perfect! Clean and cozy, perfect location and super nice staff.

Our room was pristine and wonderfully comfort able, we really appreciated the good bed and efficient air conditioning. Casa Di Mirea was perfectly located to explore every part of Grado whether you wanted to relax at the beach or visit the old town. Francis was a consumate and delightful host and made an excellent breakfast. We recommend highly and look forward to returning.

We got a one-bedroom apartment with two expansive balconies facing north and west. The apartment was really spacious and clean, had absolutely everything one might need and, most importantly, stayed cool throughout the day even with the air conditioning off. The location was perfect as well, with free parking in the neighbourhood, the nearest grocery store at the next intersection and within a 5-minute walk from the beach. Special thanks to the staff who were extremely friendly and cheerful. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend the place to anyone travelling to Grado.

Everything was perfect, clean, ready... a big plus are the bicycles available and also the empathetic owners... the owner was interested in what else we would like for breakfast, it was very nice..

Great location, great apartment with a view of the sea, clean and super friendly staff. Just the right distance to rent a bike, which they also have in the accommodation, and ride along the sea to the center. I highly recommend it!
