Fantastic hotel in the Boccadasse area of Genoa. We stayed in a double room that was very clean and comfortable. It was a bit small, but we really enjoyed it. The room included a kettle, tea, sugar, liquid soap, shampoo, a fridge, and air conditioning. The lobby had a water cooler and a coffee machine. The staff were extremely friendly. Luigi, the receptionist, was very helpful, giving us tips on local restaurants, attractions, and how to get around. The hotel’s location is excellent—between two beaches, next to a beautiful promenade, and only 15 minutes by bus from the center of Genoa. Bus stops and a Lidl supermarket are just a 5-minute walk away. Highly recommended!

The staff was very nice and used google translate to give us tips and reccomandations. Very clean room and bathroom (cleaned everyday) Small room with AC and fan both working and keys for the bathroom. You can use the mini fridge in the hallway and drink free tea. They have a vending machine with cheap water, chips and sweets that came in handy. Bus stations right in front of the place, train station at 7 mins walk, a cute bar for breakfast Tartaruga at 2 mins walk, a mini rocky beach at 5 mins walk. Great place and close to transportation and touristic attractions. Good value of money. We stayed a week here.

The room was nice and clean, but the walls were a bit thin, so you can hear other guests. We didn't mind that, but it can be a problem if you're a light sleeper. The location is great, very close to the beach, cafes, restaurants and stores. There is parking in the street of the apartment. It gets a bit crowded during the night, but we managed to find it.The owner is really friendly. :)

Gorgeous property in a beautiful location- right on the beach in the picturesque town. Apartment was excellently equipped with crockery, pots, pans etc. Hosts couldn’t have been nicer to deal with, they were so helpful and ready and waiting at the other end of the phone for any concerns or queries you may have. I couldn’t recommended this property enough if you are planning on staying in Boccadasse!

Everything was perfect. The building is grandiose, you can feel the architectural elegance of Belle Époque. The breakfast was one of the best I've seen in Europe. We only had a small problem with the internet, but you should really turn off your phone and feel the historic glamorous ambience of the hotel in this dazzling, vibrant city!

This hotel is outstanding, from the professional, courteous staff to the immaculate attention to our room. No request was too much, which made us feel like valued guests. The location, close to Genova Brignole station, felt very safe and was convenient for metro, rail, good restaurants and nice pastry/coffee shops. I highly recommend the Hotel Astoria and hope to return soon. Thank you all for introducing us to beautiful Genova.
