I SO liked Dopa Hostel, and would recommend it to anyone. Such friendly staff, and travellers as well. Italian Hostel De Luxe. Small and intimate. Clean. Sometimes you have to wait for the bathroom, but never long enough to be bothersome.
I really liked how they cared about not wasting food during breakfast. Could have had a little bit healthier muesli, but it’s minor.
Many solotravellers, and also a mixture inbetween mostly younger and some ”older” travellers (me being one of them :). So appreciate the dinner they arranged for us who wanted to join on the night of my arrival.
Loved the atmosphere!

After a flight cancelation we had to stay in Bologna for the night, and we found this place. The staff is exceptionally kind and helpful. They made us feel very welcome and comfortable during our short stay in such a way that this unplanned stay felt like a treat. We had a very early flight the next day so we couldn't enjoy the breakfast, but they immediately offered to prepare breakfast the evening before so we wouldn't go hungry the next day. They also arranged the taxi reservation in the early hours.
The place itself was very comfortable and super clean, and there were complimentary snacks and coffee available. Located very close to the central station and just a few steps from the city center.

We had a wonderful stay! Being right by the main square made exploring so easy. Our suite was lovely—spacious, cozy, and we got a great night’s sleep thanks to the comfy bed and pillows. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety, just a heads-up that it can get busy, so try to head down early to snag a table!
