It is perfect if you're looking just for a place to stay for the night to begin or to finish you journey in Iceland. I stayed both in the beginning and the end of my trip and both time were perfect. It serves its purpose of resting. If you don't have a rental car, I do not recommend you stay in this hotel because it is a bit far from Reykjavik center. Also if you are using Reykjavik as a starting point for your tours and plan on staying there, I also do not recommend for the same reason.

The amount of space, layout, view, and convenience going in/out of Reykjavik. It was super easy to check in/out, and responses from staff were courteous and speedy. We only cooked one night, but the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed, and most importantly a wine/bottle opener. 😀. Parking was plenty, and although we'd be getting home late at night, we never had issues parking near the building.

Overlooking Lake Ellidavatn, this hotel offers free parking, free Wi-Fi access and an in-house restaurant. All rooms have private bathrooms and flat-screen TVs. Central Reykjavik is 13 km away.

The view for how close it is to the city, can't be beat. The room balconies open up to the lake and got us perfect views of northern lights

The property looks new. It has a lift. I like that the property also have a little kitchen, it will save you load of money. Across the aprtment is a grocery store. A pharmacy 4 mins away and coffee shops.The bus stops we like 5-10 mins walk away and most of it will bring u directly to reykjavic town
