The location is perfect for families. Odayam beach is a short walk and is quieter and cleaner than Varkala beach. Some days we had the entire beach to ourselves. We won’t ever forget surfing and swimming as the sun sets. Beautiful.

I absolutely loved this property. It's beautiful and so thoughtfully maintained. You can clearly see the effort that goes into every detail, all curated with great taste. I loved my stay in the Hostel Stories! It was a place where I could easily connect with other travellers and also with the people working there, it felt like a big family from the first second on. I really enjoyed spending time with All the people there 🥰 The manager even managed to give me a bed one day earlier cause I didn't feel comfortable where I was before, he was really helpful and compassionate! On top of that the beds are comfy and the facilities are modern. Thank you for everything. 🙏🏻🪷

Owner Sajeev and caretaker Vijayan looked after us really well during our stay. The location is fantastic - it's outside Varkala which is great if you are looking for somewhere away from the tourist crowds but bear the beach. There was a quiet beach nearby which we had almost to ourselves at times. Swimming in the sea as the sun went down was one of the highlights of our trip to India. The room was a good size with air con and a fan. Breakfast was served outside on the terrace. There is also a washing machine for guests which was really helpful for us as we are backpacking. We were lucky enough to have visited during a Hindu festival and saw plenty of free entertainment at the temple next door. Varkala is only a short tuktuk ride away and has all sorts of different restaurants and shops. Thanks for a memorable stay!

We loved everything about our stay here - so good that we decided to extend our three night booking to include a further three nights 😊 The accommodation was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable and peaceful (although just a short walk to the cliff). The host helped us with a making a variety of bookings (train, taxi, great massage). Tea/coffee/filtered water facilities in communal hallway. Feeling of it being very safe and secure. Would definitely recommend!
