We extended our stay and got a different room, which was also super cozy. The warm atmosphere and the lovely people here made our stay really special. Breakfast was great, and the Kerala-style dinner absolutely blew us away – it felt like dining in a nice restaurant! We are very happy that we chose this place, and if we had more time, we would definitely stay longer.

Very good staff and manager! Very helpfull. Clean beach (always) and clean very comfortable rooms. I can reccomend it! Place very good for people who looks very good quality. The best place in Varkala (about 20 mins from shops in Varkala Cliff).

The Hostel Stories in Varkala is an incredibly friendly place to stay if you're visiting Varkala. I’ve been there for three weeks, and from the very first day, I felt at home—even though it was my first time in India! The hostel has a beautiful garden with hammocks, chairs, and fruit trees, always filled with good vibes and friendly people to chat with. The atmosphere is both calm and welcoming, making it easy to connect with other travelers while also having space to relax on your own. If you're traveling solo, I promise you won’t feel lonely! There’s also a lovely terrace where you can practice yoga early in the morning, hang your clothes to dry, or simply lie back and watch the stars at night. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the hostel is just a short walk from the South Cliff, where you’ll find the amazong ocean, cafés, restaurants, and all the shops you might need. A huge thank you to Pintu and all the staff at the hostel—you made my stay unforgettable!

The location is perfect for families. Odayam beach is a short walk and is quieter and cleaner than Varkala beach. Some days we had the entire beach to ourselves. We won’t ever forget surfing and swimming as the sun sets. Beautiful.

Gosh this was a luxurious find , a large room with balconies, located inside a very spacious Residence. It has excellent kitchen facilities, if you choose to cook or just have snacks . There is a communal fridge. We loved having access to the washing machine. It is extremely clean and well maintained . Sudeer , will ensure you stay is very comfortable. We can highly recommend if you want a quiet place not far from the Varkala cliffs and the beach .

What an amazing stay it was! 1. View and Location - This is located in the quietest part of oddayyam beach. private access to the beach, day and night. The view you get in the morning just outside your room will be surreal!! Surroundings are completely quiet. This is right next to maadthil homestay. 2. Value for money - Not overvalued. Worth every penny you pay. Superb surroundings, room service, wifi access, smarttv options, room amenities provided. 3. Lovely, Sweet and Welcoming host - Abhilash is very amazing person. Hospitality was good. Provided us with all information, contacts for vehicles, transfer, kayaking, mangroves etc. Also provided space for our luggage when we had a late checkout scenario. 4. Rooms - Hygienic and clean rooms. Bed spread, pillows, washrooms are all well maintained. Hope they keep the same level of hygiene consistent. 5. Peaceful vibes - If you stay here your mind will be refreshed. That is what i can say!!! completely peaceful vibe! Overall an amazing stay. definitely recommended for friends, family and couple who are on a vacation in varkala.
