Had a fabulous time in Kashmir and our stay at the Lake Victoria Houseboat was the highlight of our trip. It is a beautiful and well kept houseboat, the rooms are spacious, beautiful architecture. Tasty homemade kashmiri food, different and better than what you can get in a five star hotel. Will highly recommended to stay here when in Srinagar

From the tasteful decor, pristine, personalised service, clean & comfy rooms to the serene environment - absolutely everything about the property far surpassed my expectations. The delicious homestyle meals are also worth mentioning. I was fortunate enough to get a private cooking class on location, when I expressed my interest!

The location was unbeatable, and the staff were simply exceptional, with special mention for Gulzaar and Altaf. At no point did we feel far from home; their warmth and attentiveness made us feel completely welcome. This was our first trip with our eight-month-old baby, and the team went out of their way to prepare his meals promptly and according to our specifications. The cuisine they offered was equally exquisite.
The hospitality we received was, without a doubt, worthy of praise. Adil, our host, played a fundamental role in helping us organize every detail of the itinerary, ensuring that our three-night, four-day stay went off without a hitch.
In short, a highly recommended experience.

Houseboat Zaindari Palace is in a very good location quiet part of Dal Lake with a mountain view. The rooms are spacious and the washrooms are super clean. Management is also very helpful. The breakfast and dinner are tasty The staff are friendly, and give honest advice about tour/bus/travel itineraries and costs. I would definitely recommend this place:)
