Alfonso 's Guesthouse was the last stop on my tour to India and it was just what this weary traveller needed. I booked it last minute but I got a wonderful welcome and everything was catered for. I also was allowed to stay in my room until 4pm because I had a late flight. The coffee on the rooftop was delicious. The views were stunning as was the greenery. I also got the most delicious Pineapple Juice that I've ever had in my life.Clifton and his mother couldn't have been kinder and organised a taxi to the airport for me. I wasn't sure which one so they sorted it out. Overall 5 Star review for this Boutique Hotel. There's also a lovely restaurant, Viva Panjim, around the corner that does lovely Pina Colada's. Bring a book and sit under the shade.

It’s a beautiful boutique property located in Fountainhas. l with picturesque streets all around. All basic amenities are present. The hotel team was extremely courteous and just a call away.

What a beautiful property! Like a colonial home turned into a time capsule. It’s impeccably clean and tidy. Spacious and beautifully laid rooms. All fixtures in the room worked. Clean bathrooms. Gorgeous furnitures. Comfortable bed. Big balcony.
As aesthetically pleasing as the property is, the number one reason for me to come back and recommend this property is because of the staffs. What a great bunch of people working and helping guests out. There is always someone on hand waiting to assist. That’s very rare to see in a boutique hotel. Big shoutout to Abhijit and Shivaraj. Thank you for always being there to assist us!! Can’t wait to return :)

The hotel is an absolute oasis in Goa. Everything is amazing. From the incredible decoration, to the comfort of the rooms, the amazing view over the bay and the sea, the super nice staff. Really an amazing hotel!

What an incredible oasis of tranquility! We were looking for some time to relax and find peace and this place definitely provided it. The staff was incredible and so lovely and caring, we really felt that we have built a connection with them. In fact we had dinner at the hotel most nights as we wanted to be in their company. A must try is their Masala Chai on the veranda in the evening: they make you feel at home.
10/10 for this one.
