Beautiful setting, really attentive staff, great breakfast. The room was perfect and I enjoyed learning about the history of the hotel. It is right next to the gateway to India. The bakery is amazing, we had really good macaroons.

Great budget hotel in the heart of Colaba. Nice clean rooms and comfortable bed. The staff are very polite and helpful. The hotel is close to shops and restaurants, and only 15 mins walk to The Gateway of India. It's a great base for exploring South Mumbai.

My recent stay at YWCA international centre was absolutely wonderful. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome and comfortable. The room was impeccably clean. The location was also perfect and I enjoyed the very tasty dinner and rich breakfast. Very very happy to see a lot of women working there, not common in India. Overall I highly recommend this hotel for anyone who is looking for a good hotel in Mumbai.

Hotel Janata is a very nice little hotel situated within an easy walking distance from Gateway of India etc. The staff made us feel truly welcome, they were very helpful and friendly. There are lots of restaurants and tea stands in the area, also good possibility for shopping. Our room was very comfortable and it was cleaned regularly as per our wishes. The hotel has a small lobby with a fan, where you can sit, read, relax and chat with other guests. Through the open windows you hear the Colaba sounds.
I strongly recommend the Mumbai sightseeing tour arranged for us by the manager!
In this price range, Hotel Janata is a good choice!

We booked this hotel on the eve of our stay, as the previous hotel that we booked was not up to our expectations. I would say that the staff at Godwin are so helpful, they tried their best to make the check-in procedure go smoothly. They even offer us free breakfast on the check-in day.
The room was big and very clean with a comfortable bed. Luxurious bathroom.
Breakfast was good, a little bit limited, but was not an issue for me, I was able to adjust. The location is superb. walking distance to the gateway of India, and the shopping street of Colaba. Lots of good restaurants to eat nearby. The hotel also has a good dinner package.
The staff helped us with our heavy luggage and sometimes when coming back from our shopping haul, they would carry our bags to our room.
Hence I surely recommend this hotel
