Location in quiet area yet a stones throw away from a lot of great cafes, shops, bazar, sea front walk.
The plants in the courtyard as you walk in keep temperature a few degrees cooler than out on the street which gives a calm, peaceful vibe. Decor is tastefully done. Highly recommend

Stayed one week in Sofitel in Mumbai. I had a very early arrival, and asked the hotel in advance if there might be a chance to have my room ready earlier than standard check-in time. They were kind, so it took me just about 1 hour to wait in the lobby before my room was ready.
The selection of meals at breakfast was very good. Rooms are very clean and comfy. Hotel staff do their best to make you happy virtually in any aspect.

Excellent hotel with very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast buffet at hotel's own restaurant Veranda. There were both Indian food and toasts and a cheff who made omelets.
During evening time there were live music which was nice. Great atmosphere.
Hotel's services were good too. For example they booked us drivers.
Laundry service worked fine aswell.
And the location was great.
We stayed almost a week and enjoyed our time there.

I'm a five time guest, here are some of the things I love about this hostel: The attention to detail, super clean, hot showers, enormous co-ed bathroom (the way it should be in a hostel), helpful staff, 15-min walk to the local train station (Bandra Terminus), 30 min train to Gateway of India, plenty of spaces to chill, not-one-but-TWO common rooms, and really cool guests (seriously, even during short stays I can find people to hang-out with...)
