All, from the moment of booking at Booking com till the check out of my stay! It was an sentimental journey and they provided me with all the things you can imagine from private vegetarian cooking for me to make my room feel home! I had booked so many extra's that way! Nothing was negative, tea and coffee with something was complementary in all areas of the hotel. Dinner was part of the room and this was cooked delicious each day different. I (Vegetarian) had an special treatment which can only dreamed off! Not a single letter of negative things to mention, when I left they gave me presents for on the way to enjoy the good local Indonesian food. It made my memories from the past so special. From all the hotels in Jakarta, I can only recommend this historical place. If you check in you become part of it, and no doubts this is not my last stay in the Hermitage from now onwards! I can only recommend more sentimental travellers to see what they offer and book their stay, please do.

We stayed for two nights and had a fantastic experience. The hotel’s bold and original design immediately caught our attention — it’s full of character, with stunning paintings, graphics, and intricate details everywhere. Some might find the ambiance a bit dark, but we absolutely loved the atmospheric and artistic feel. Our room was spacious and spotless, with a comfortable bed and plush pillows that you just sink into — though we personally prefer firmer ones, it was still great! The entire hotel is immaculately clean, and there’s a pleasant, subtle aroma throughout the space. We enjoyed exploring the hotel’s facilities, starting with a visit to the rooftop bar upon arrival. But what truly stood out for us was the well-equipped gym and the spacious library. The breakfast was exceptional. The buffet had a fantastic selection of dishes, from dim sum to sushi, and there was also an à la carte menu with additional options. A huge thank you to the wonderful staff — from the friendly porter who greeted us at the entrance to the reception and restaurant teams, everyone was professional and welcoming. If we find ourselves in Jakarta again, we will definitely stay here again!

The team at Grand Hyatt were so friendly, helpful and engaging. They helped with directions and recommendations for anything we asked. We loved the evening we spent at the bar with the fabulous singers who were so much fun. The pool is great and the location of the hotel is actually perfect. Would live to stay here again if Jakarta is again in my travel plans. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the exceptional staff at AYANA Hotel Jakarta during my recent stay from 17 to 21 September 2025, under the name Hossein Sadeghi. Upon my arrival in Jakarta, I unfortunately lost my luggage at the airport. It was a stressful experience made worse by the lack of English-speaking support from the airport staff. However, once I arrived at AYANA Hotel and shared my concern with Mr. Darren, he immediately took initiative and contacted the airline by phone. I am grateful for his willingness to help. Mr. Darren then introduced me to Mr. Novindra, and it is because of his outstanding service that I am writing this recommendation. Mr. Novindra went above and beyond in every aspect. He personally contacted local airlines, began investigating the case, and the next day informed me that my luggage had been found, even providing the flight number on which it was arriving. But his assistance didn’t stop there. He organised a taxi from the hotel and accompanied me to the airport, where he handled all local communications, translated everything, and guided me through the process. Thanks to his support, I was able to enter the airport and retrieve my luggage smoothly. Mr. Novindra demonstrated an extraordinary level of care, professionalism, and empathy, which turned a difficult situation into a memorable experience. I am truly grateful to him and the entire AYANA team for their hospitality and exceptional service.

The breakfast is fantastic, a feast: Breakfast has several stations: healthy, Chinese, Japanese, Western, Indian. There is a Chinese station with congee, a rice soup where the guest adds various seasonings such as peanuts, eggs, and various spices. The Japanese station has miso soup and ingredients to put in the soup, such as tofu, vegetables, seaweed, noodles The healthy station has several, such as a variety of yogurts, fruits, smoked salmon, vegetables with broccoli. There is an Indian station with masala dosa, naan, dall and various specialties. There's even ice cream. There are also stations with cheeses, cold cuts, breads of all kinds, and an English coffee station.
