Haddi and staff can’t do enough for you. There is much to see or do but it not usual holiday place. I stayed for 8 days and was so well looked after. Don’t miss the turtles but so many other things to see and do. If you want nightlife not for you but if want to connect with nature this is the place. Haddi is doing an amazing job from a fisherman to someone building ecotourism and looking after his home village can’t rate it enough. Food every day is amazing and he rents a scooter as well you can see and do so much. Can’t wait to go back.

This place is a true find, offering incredible value for money. The property is just steps away from the surf spot, and the selection of rental boards is not only extensive but also in excellent condition—something rare in the area. The best homestay in Java! Dave the host is a legend. He's super helpful and very fun to be around. If your in need of anything he can easily sort it.The place itself is super clean, very spacious and in a great location close to the beach. The space has lots of nice places to chill out in between surfs. The breakfast was so tasty, best banana pancakes around. Can't reccomend Daves homestay enough!

Our host Sri was so kind and prepared a spread of local food. The beds were comfy and everything was clean. The surroundings were stunning.

The place looks amazing. The room was clean and spacious, and its view is on a beautiful garden. Sri is very nice and helpful. Breakfast is very good. The beach is 2 minutes walking. We definitely recommend this place!

Had the best week at Big Daddys Surf Camp! Kingkong is an amazing, hospitable and welcoming host with lots of stories to share of his adventurous life leading tours through Indonesia. I had a surf lesson every day with Tomo and he helped me develop a lot in a short period. I felt immediately part of the family and got to meet other locals who are part of the Big Daddy Family. I was invited to barbecue lunches and dinners and we all singed and played the guitar together. Wholesome fun! In love with Red Island and wish I could have stayed longer. Will see you again soon!

Awesome location on the most beautiful beach we've seen in Java. The staff is exceptionally hospitable. The room was very clean, comfortable and right next to the pool (which was really clean and warm too). They have their own kitchen for breakfast/lunch/dinner whenever you want, the food was really delicious and was always prepared with a smile. The fridge with drinks/ice cream was a great bonus, and so was the laundry service. They also offer surf lessons and surfboard rental. Thanks for taking such good care of us! Definitely recommend this place.
