KARLO at reception was an inspiration with all his enthusiasm and knowledge of the history of the area and got us all excited to get going on our planned intenary. We enjoyed the area and loved Old Town. As newbies to Croatia we asked a few questions and he happened to be at reception, and more than happy to go far and beyond assisting us with our queries and provided so much more than we expected. He is a gem to have for new tourists as it is sometimes awkward to ask questions in English but he was fluent in English, his knowledge of all of Croatia was incredible, he even recommended other towns we needed to see, (which we did) and made us feel very welcome. We are so glad that we added Dubrovnik to our list of places to visit. The hotel is beautiful and met all expectations.

This hotel is newly refurbished and the rooms are very clean. The breakfast was lovely, and there was a great selection, including gluten-free options. Every staff member was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located on a quiet road about 5-10 minutes walk from Lapad restaurants, bars, and sunset beach. The no 6 bus is located approximately 200 metres up the road, and it goes into the old town every 10 minutes. There is a shop near the bus stop. It is also close to Gruz Port, where you can get a ferry to Hvar. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent location with beautiful seaview, bakery and supermaket round the corner, still silent in the flat. Ca. 10 min walk to the beach and ca. 2 km walk to the old town. The washing machine was very useful.

Absolutely gorgeous and cozy hotel, it felt very homelike and comfortable. Beautiful view, clean rooms, staff was very friendly and overall just an amazing experience. Very close to the old town as well (by foot).

This luxury hotel is right on the water and a 10 minute walk from the old city, which you don’t want to stay in because you can’t drive in it and thus must carry your luggage through old, crowded marble streets and potentially up dozens of steep steps. The hotel staff was wonderful, the room was huge, the breakfast was extensive and delicious and the spa is top notch with pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, work out room and custom massages.
