I could not recommend this ensuite enough for its location, comfortability and price value. A massive thank you to Shane who was communicative throughout our stay, and gave super clear instructions on property access. The room was exceptionally clean, and equipped with plenty of coffees, toiletries, plug converters, which made our stay pleasant.

This is a very special hotel in a 18th/19th century style and furniture with modern comforts. We slept in a bed with 1676 carved into it. I particularly liked the antique bathroom fittings, the standalone bath with a copper shower surround. The sitting room with an honesty bar and the library were great to relax in.

We had a really nice stay. The hostess went out of her way to provide us with very useful information. Comunication was perfect, check-in really easy, the flat was clean and spacious. Great beds, well equipped. Two minutes walk to train and buses. Great value. Close to the city. Just perfect! A clear ten out of ten.

The boat was fantastic, it made such a change from staying in a nondescript hotel and felt like a real adventure! The children in particular absolutely loved it. It’s moored in a great part of town, with excellent facilities, close to the local tube station and easy access to all of the sites. We’ll definitely be back and would recommend in a heartbeat!

An excellent experience! We traveled with my husband and I loved everything. Elaine is very kind to all the guests and helped us get situated in the city, the room is beautiful just like the photo or even more so. Everything is very clean, the area is safe. I really loved it and hope to return.
