We booked last-minute that very morning after a red-eye flight and they got us in a room as soon as possible, apologizing for the wait in the meantime (even though it was before normal check-in time), and upgraded us for free to a better room that was available sooner! The building is historic and the room was gorgeous, modern, spacious, spotlessly clean, and comfortable. Huge, powerful, hot shower. The ultra-modern kitchen was small but fun to cook in. All staff was lovely and helpful and attentive. We accidentally broke a mug and a nice man from housekeeping soon arrived with a "glass bucket" to finish cleaning it up safely. Great location in Chelsea, with Sloane Square tube stop nearby. I could happily live there for a long time if I could afford it!
