Cosy place for a quick getaway in London, very close to both underground and bus stations (2 minutes away by foot). Great appliances, you have everything you need in the kitchen, shared laundry room with Miele washing mashine and dryer 😎, nice and comfy furniture, very well maintained building.
Of course there is no view (but we weren't expecting one!) and the place is small, but somehow it doesn't feel at all cramped, we felt great there (and mind you, my husband is very tall, he needs space 🙂).
Comfy bed, nice shower, a very good feeling all around.

The staff here are passionate, friendly and super helpful. You are treated like a VIP. The atmosphere is second to none - the pub is spectacular (incredible food) and the accommodations are bespoke and gorgeous. Everything has been considered to the tiniest detail. The shower is legendary!

The rooms were excellent, with very effective AC on a hot day. staff were very good, especially Soheil who treated us like VIPs. The pub downstairs was really enjoyable, a good range of beers, a lively atmosphere and excellent Thai food. I thoroughly recommend The Grafton and it will be our place to stay in London from now on. Price of room and food very reasonable too.

Rooms were extremely clean. Continental Breakfast was perfect. Hotel is 5 mins away from both Underground and Overground stations. We had our own personal entrance to Guesthouse which was very handy for comings and goings. There were unlimited free water bottles available which was great. Staff were extremely accommodating and kept our bags after checkout so we could continue to explore. There isn’t much in the area but the stations are so close I can’t complain. Highly recommend the Black Lion and would stay again!!

This was our first time staying with Mason & Fifth, and we had a lovely time. First of all, the hotel staff were extremely nice and friendly, and they even allowed us to check in almost two hours before the official check-in time.
The location is great, with a bus stop right in front of the hotel entrance.
We were surprised by how spacious even the smallest studio is — the bathroom in particular is huge compared to other boutique hotels in London.
It was quite cold and rainy outside during our stay, but the room was comfortably warm and very clean.
The common area downstairs for breakfast, with its garden view, is amazing and so cosy — a perfect place to sit down with a cup of coffee.
We are already looking forward to staying here again next time we visit London.

Newly equipped flat, everything is fabulous, clean & pleasant.
Perfect location, British Museum 10 minutes only by walking, Russell Square Tube Station within 2 minutes, so as supermarket. Via Metro, all attractions of London can be accessed within 20 minutes.
Will be the best choice for next stay in London.
