Located in the centre of Edinburgh, just a few minutes’ walk from the Royal Mile and 650 yards of The Real Mary King's Close, Market Street forms part of Edinburgh’s historic skyline. Great and very central location where guests can walk to shops, parks, and local restaurants; beautiful views; friendly staff; huge rooms; delicious breakfast! We loved our stay and will definitely return. It would be our number one choice in Edinburgh.

Located on Princes Street, The Balmoral has a 4 AA Rosette restaurant, a pool and a gym. Waverley Station and Edinburgh's main shopping area are within 5 minutes' walk. Staff, location and housekeeping in particular, the best team 👍

The Witchery by the Castle offers a range of opulent suites in Edinburgh, each one unique with its own special features. Everything was absolutely exceptional and in perfect condition. The attention to detail is astounding and the service was amazing. Perfect location. Felt like stepping back in time yet with modern facilities. Cannot wait to return!

Just metres from Holyrood Park, Edinburgh Marriott Hotel Holyrood features an award-winning restaurant and spa. With Edinburgh Castle just a mile away, guests have free WiFi access and large rooms. Very large king room. Shower head was great. Didn't know there was a large indoor pool/sauna/spa when I booked, and they were wonderful. Large variety at breakfast. £18 if not prebooked, £12 if prebooked. Katie, Donald, and David at the front desk were very helpful with all details and a wealth of local information and suggestions for attractions/dining. It is one block off The Royal Mile, quiet at night for good sleep.

Well situated in Edinburgh, House of Gods Royal Mile offers air-conditioned rooms, a bar and free WiFi. It was quite enchanting; it really felt like you were on train from bygone days. The rooms were compact like your own train cabin. The feeling was opulent with velvety walls and bedding. Our room was so quiet and dark which was great for sleeping. The bed was comfortable. The location was perfect. I have nothing bad to say about the hotel and would stay there again.

Situated in the centre of Edinburgh, the Motel One Edinburgh-Royal is 5 minutes’ walk away from the train station, and only half a mile from the Castle. Guests can reach the historical St. Room was small but was exceptionally clean and comfortable. My view (out my window) was of another wall. I didn't care about that as I wasn't in Edinburgh to spend time inside a hotel room. But if this is something you don't like then maybe request a room with a view. I liked the bar area. I spent some time there relaxing with a great cappuccino, which eventually morphed into local beers. Great service

In Edinburgh’s historic Old Town, this Hotel Du Vin has uniquely styled bedrooms in a former city asylum. At the hotel’s heart is a French Bistro, serving produce from the Lothian region. Lovely, charming hotel situated in a historical building in the old town of Edinburgh just steps from Grassmarket (with it`s umpteen pubs) and the Royal mile and St Giles, so everything is literally around the corner. Rooms are comfy and nicely decorated with large bathrooms (both tub & walk-in shower) and a privat (fridge)bar , which you can fill up with your own drinks. The staff is very attentive and helpful - everything can be arranged very quickly and professionally. The courtyard is something invalubale in the historical centre and the (heated!) Cigar Bothy is life saving for smokers during winter time too ( you certainly can sip your chosen whiskey here too). They serve - reasonably priced - delicious breakfast ( traditional full cooked Scottish breakfast included) and the Sunday Roast in the Bistro is a must. (Be prepared for huge portions.) After a 2 nights stay we came to the conclusion that Hotel Du Vin will be our definite accommodation in Edinbugrh whenever we return. Thank you for your hospitality!

Boasting stylish rooms with plasma-screen TVs and wall-sized magnetic maps, this refurbished hotel is 800 metres from Edinburgh Waverley Rail Station and 300 metres from the Royal Mile. The staff was very nice , room comfy and clean, location absolutely perfect in the city centre , breakfast very tasty with a decent variety on options
