Fantastic hotel next to the train station. We had to spend an unexpected night in Rennes due to our train being cancelled. Great room (upgraded at no extra cost) very well insulated (so quiet) and shower excellent. Definitely stay here again.

The parking was useful and the instructions to enter fine, with key collection as described. It was clean, so far as we could see although we spent very little time there (see: what we didn’t like)

Very nice little apartment. Kitchen was fully equipped, bed was comfortable and the neighbourhood was very calm. Also acces was well arranged and Lucie and Marie were very efficient in responding.

The location is perfect if you are travelling by train, as you can walk there in 5-10 minutes. The host prepared for us a self baked bread and self made yogurt for breakfast. She was very flexible and arranged for an early check in as well as let us leave the bags at her property in the morning, so that we could have a walk in town before we took our train. We travelled with two children and got the whole attic to ouselves, with our own bathroom, which gave us a lot of privacy. The area was very calm and quiet and we enjoyed the personal touch which this location offered.

We stopped off last minute on our long drive back up from Hossegor to catch a ferry in Roscoff the next morning. We were greeted and welcomed warmly; even though it was late. The room was immaculate and the design was so interesting and tasteful. It felt like a home from home and felt very safe and cosy! The breakfast and coffee were delicious and it was lovely to chat with the owner about life. It was a very pleasant stay and we will stay again next time we do a surf trip down south!

Chateau d’Apigné is set in a beautiful 25-hectare park, 8 km from Rennes. It features spacious and luxury rooms in a classic 19-centurary décor and large beds.

Beautiful Chateau. Quiet grounds in a park like setting. Staff was helpful. Good massages on offer. Very good breakfast, dinner and room service. The room was great with a proper big bed. Decorated nicely. Loved the hotel. Everything about it. We stayed 2 nights. Used as a hub to explore Rennes (Great city!) and Dinan. I wish we would have stayed longer. Best hotel of our 10 day trip in Brittany.
