It's a beautiful large apartment with a closed off garden. Big enough for four people (either a family or two couples - two separate bedrooms with double beds). No room airco, but the building is really cool and the temperature doesn't go above 22/23 if you keep the windows closed during the day. Fast internet for those that care about that, reasonably close access to public transport.

Breakfast can be ordered until 17:00 the day before (French, savoury or vegan for 13 Euro each) and is delivered at 7:30 outside your room. Free coffee, tea, cocoa and purified water in the communal kitchen/living room area all day (10:00-midnight). Room has a functional kitchenette with capsule coffee maker, microwave, sink & big fridge. The Marshall bluetooth speaker in the room is nice, as we could play our own music. We didn't miss the TV, and are not even sure if the communal "living room" on the ground floor has one. It has a record player and other things (like books and games) which give a slight feeling of "90s retro", yet it's very tastefully decorated. The communal courtyard terrace with lemon & orange trees is very nice for a quiet break. The location is in a quiet side street between the hip Cours Julien bar and party area and the narrow streets of Noailles with their many African and Arab shops and restaurants. It's not far to the Vieux Port and the main shoping streets and in the neighbourhood you can also find supermarkets and late shops. Olivier the manager was super nice and he insisted on helping us carry our bags inside. He was always busy but extremely friendly and always happy to help.
