I had the privilege of staying at Longchamps for a total of five nights and left it with the best impressions and memories.
The hotel is situated centrally and yet offers peace and quietness. It was comforting to retreat there after a day on the noisy and stressful streets of Cairo. The rooms are spacious, newly refurbished and decorated tastefully as is indeed the hotel overall. I wish to emphasize the particular cleanliness of the rooms and of its several premises. I very much appreciated and enjoyed the veranda of the hotel both in the morning, when breakfast is served there, and during the evenings as it’s the perfect spot to relax.
As regards breakfast, I tried the oriental breakfast on the first morning of my stay and got stuck with it. It is not only delicious, but also very nutritious; in fact, we skipped lunch every day during our stay in Cairo. Abdulrahman introduced me to various sorts of Egyptian cheese and to other domestic delicacies and conversing with him was interesting and pleasant.
Overall, the personnel is possibly the real highlight of Longchamps! Everyone, in all positions, are very polite, friendly and helpful. I would like to thank them all very much for making our stay at the hotel such a remarkably beautiful experience!

Gorgeous interior of a converted castle. The view from the balcony off our room was lovely. Clean elegant linen, comfortable bed and interestingly renovated bathroom. Friendly and obliging staff. Favourite accomodation in Egypt so far.

Beeclo 4BR was perfect for a large family group stay in Cairo. It has more than adequate space for a large group. The pyramids at Giza can be seen from one of the bedrooms which is a thrill. Everyone in our group enjoyed the stay.
