the complimentary upgrade we received from a heritage room (deluxe king suite) which I found dark and poorly equipped to a modern spacious apartment with incredible views of the nearby domes was so appreciated. Staff were very kind and thoughtful. Fabulous location.

It is a wonderful hotel!At first sight it is clear that everything is perfect!It has a small pretty courtyard with plants and flowers and when you enter it seems that you are somewhere in the countryside!It is so nice that you don’t want to leave this place!The room is very clean with a comfortable bed, pillows and wonderful linen.You have everything you need. The breakfast is very tasty and the restaurant is very cozy.It is so nice to have a meal in such a pleasant and atmospheric place. Warm welcome! Great service! Delicious Italian food at onsite restaurant! Healthy breakfasts! Colourfully-painted exterior & God-reminding interior decor! Special treat: Sunday night when restaurant closed, served a glass of wine, toast w/ my leftover salad accompanied by classical concerts on lobby TV screen. Owner/manager kindly gave me a spare room at a huge discount so my roommate could get some sleep without my disturbing nightmares!

The hotel is not called Hotel en El Centro Historico. It's called Balcon del Arte. It took me 35 mns in a taxi to find it and 10$ instead of 2$ from the bus station. I had to stop at each hotel on the road to find the hotel asking if it was the hotel.
