The accommodation was lovely and the staff made the experience very enjoyable. The hotel is very central to the inner east of Berlin, almost on top of the East Side Gallery. I’d recommend paying the extra for the east side gallery-facing rooms, and for the breakfast, which had a great selection. Will be recommending this property for those looking for comfort and class in the middle of the culture of Friedrichshain.

We as a family (kids 9&13) absolutely loved this apartment! Very spacious and quirky steampunk style. Location was perfect. It was cool inside while 30+ degrees outside. It was walking distance from Eastside Gallery and Warschauerstrasse station. We were only one day / two nights in Berlin passing by on our way back home. We did a hop on hop off tour from Eastside Gallery and saw the whole town. It was great to have this location as a base.

We (two teenagers, single mom) really liked the: -nice welcome by the host who handed over the keys -complimentary taxi service from BER Airport to the apartment -super cleanliness throughout the apartment, squeaky clean bathrooms!!! -layout of the apartment (two bedrooms with TVs, two bathrooms, living room, kitchen) -comfy beds + warm duvet and pillow sets -elevator (4th floor apartment) -no noise whatsoever, however, building is at a busy junction (but our home is in a city centre, so we are used to the noise) -a sense of security (both the entrance to the building and the door to the apartment are secure), although the area is quite party-ish -video telephone system of building entrance door (came handy when we ordered food via WOLT App) -good public transport (we used S-Bahn via Ostkreuz station, and the bus to Warschauer Straße station, Uber Arena, East Side Mall) -we were there during the Easter Holiday, all the stores were closed, but we could still do some food shopping at Ostkreuz station, there is also a Bio Market on the other side of the station -close to Uber Arena (we were there for a concert) -kitchen had everything we needed (we only made ham and eggs breakfast, and a pasta dinner, so it was fine)

I stayed for 5 nights and I can say it felt really good to have such a nice place to stay and to work from away from home: - The apartment isn’t right in the center of the city so you end up in a more calm part of the town. It has Tram stops very close by (for one of the ways it’s just outside the door) so you can get yourself in city center pretty fast. - The electronic lock is excellent because you don’t have to worry about keys and despite being an apartment building there’s always someone from the workers team acting as security so you feel very safe (although the area feels very safe nonetheless). - All the amenities that are listed in the booking information are available and working correctly. They have some tea and some small snacks as an offer which I found very nice from them. You have shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and wash available and the shower works great. - The bed is very comfortable (with a lot of pillows available) and the AC works really well so the room stays at the temperature you set and feel comfortable with. - There’s supermarkets, restaurants, bakeries, pharmacy all at walking distance. - Check-in: they offer the option of an early check-in if the room is ready for you and since I was coming sooner I asked for it and as promised when the room was ready they promptly informed me I could already use it. - Check-out: it’s very easy and they offer the option to check-out latest at 12pm which is a very nice extra time to stay in bed the morning you leaving. - They provide with a laundry room with low prices for washing and drying your clothes which is great for long trip takers like me who had the opportunity to have a full fresh set of clothes after 1.5 weeks in Berlin.

The niu Hide looks great! I saw for the first time some hotel with graffiti! It is really something else and looks awesome! Also is close to some shops and U-bahn 5,so the best way to get there from Berlin Hbf! Quit place and comfortable beds.
