Beautiful new hotel. The location was great to explore the historic district. The decor was tastefully done and the room comfortable. We had to depart before breakfast so were given a large packaged breakfast instead.

Excellent accommodation. The staff was very,very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was plentiful and was selected from a menu - i.e. not from a buffet but made to order - and the location is excellent, just round the corner from Plaza Bolívar, the Gold Museum, the Botero Museum and other important sights. The room was very large and quiet. Highly recommended

Really miss this hostel already. Fantastic owner who gives his guests 110% and always with a smile on his face. Impeccably clean. Great wifi. In the historic part of Bogota a street over from the main pedestrian street which runs to the city's main historic squares. Hence, lots of restaurants, cafes and museums within walking distance. Safe neighborhood. Certainly not a party hostel but the warm atmosphere created by the owner makes for a sociable environment.

I can’t recommend Magdalena Guest House enough. We stayed here twice during our stay in Colombia and Fernanda went above and beyond both times for us. She even helped us get a room at 2 o’clock in the morning when I had messed up my reservation and booked for the wrong day. Lovely hotel, comfy beds, and you feel like family. Thank you!!

Everything was perfect, however it was difficult to figure out where the entrance to the property was. I waited hours out front trying to figure out the entrance instructions. FInally a resident assisted me and once I had a whatapp contact, it was easy. I will return in about 30 days and it will be seamless
