With two kids , we planned to travel using Shanghai’s excellent subway system. The Hotel is about a 5 minutes walk from Shanghai Station, which connects to the major subway lines. What stood out for us was the great room, the excellent breakfast, and the friendliness of the staff. They spent more than half an hour helping us out with the App system to secure bookings, understanding how everything works. Everyone worked with a smile and was very helpful. I don’t normally do this but will name drop some staff names here : Beck, Victoria, Eva, Alan, all in their own way created great memories and an atmosphere that we can’t recommend enough.

The location of the hotel was perfectly situated in Shanghai! Originally we wanted to stay in one of the many 5 star hotels on the popular Bund river, but this location had so much more to offer! It was conveniently situated to walk, just about anywhere for restaurants, shopping, and nightlife. The staff were very accommodating and ever so friendly and made our stay very enjoyable with their recommendations and local tips. Most, if not all, staff spoke good, if not very good English and were used to an international level of service with a smile! Nothing was too much for them! A special mention for Bruce, Nick and Judy who were all absolute stars and were always full of energy and smiles!!!

The location was great! We used taxis during our stay but the subway station was across from the building. The space was lovely. It was so spacious for 6 of us. A cleaning lady came to clean and take out bins during our stay. The property was quiet as well.
The host was excellent!! She helped us arranging airport pick up and drop off, ordering delivery food and groceries etc! I was really touched. Highly recommended!
