Only the additional food in the hotel is relatively expensive, better find a restaurant or tea-room in the surrounding.

Highly recommend the view of the Bund — it’s probably one of the best hotel views I’ve ever had in my life. The hotel itself, with its Art Deco style, looks stunning, and I couldn’t stop admiring the beautiful interiors.
The staff are very attentive (and there are plenty of them). Most speak English, and everyone does their best to help in any way they can.
Breakfast was excellent, with gluten-free options available (two kinds of bread and a muffin). Coffee was served instantly!
