It was right on the water, with excellent view to the lake and 10 min. walking distance to the "beach". Large room and bathroom, very very helpfull reception personell. We could store our luggage in a separate room after checking out. ✔️

Beautiful old building, enough capacity od the room with a beautiful balcony and panoramic view. I have to praise the stuff and the excellent dinner.

The Hotel de la Paix is near Lake Lugano, about 1 km from the city centre and the train station. It offers an out-door pool, free WiFi, free parking on site and free minibar use.

Room was very comfortable, bed supportive. Marble updated bathroom was easy to use. Nice magnifying mirror. Linens replaced daily. Refrigerator good sized, and we were accorded free water and soft drinks. Balcony had wide view, and comfortable seating pads. TV placement and size fine. Pool good for actual swimming, but no shallow end, which didn’t bother me. Breakfast selection was amazing, and had choices for vegans and hearty eaters of all kinds. Might help to have designated smoking tables. Fast service at bar. Front desk staff extremely helpful and genuinely friendly. No question I and my family of 12, ages 18-87, would stay here again.

The service was amazing! Everyone was super nice and helpful. The breakfast was made with all local ingredients/products. The hotel was centrally located and we got a beautiful view of the water and the room was huge!

This family-owned hotel is centrally located just a short walk from Lugano town centre and its breathtaking lakeshore, and the famous Piazza Riforma with its many sidewalk cafés.
