Pros:
1. Room - the room is clean however is very small. It has all the amenities you require, however if you have 2 suitcases, it difficult to open it :)
2. Bathroom - clean and spacious
3. Staff - very friendly. The staff invited us for free drinks at bar in the evening.
4. Location - excellent. It is central and right on the water. You can enjoy your meals at the balcony and enjoy the views.
5. Breakfast - it was fresh and tasty.
6. Value for money - a bit at the expensive side but it is due to quality and location.

The hotel is in the suburbs near Lucerne, 10 minutes by car from Lucerne lake. The surrounding scenery is beautiful and quiet, suitable for a relaxing holiday. The hotel staff are enthusiastic. One day ,when we returned to the hotel, it was a little past the order time. The hotel staff still provided us with dinner for the guests. Thank you very much.

Wonderful staff at Waldhotel, especially those in the restaurant are very attentive to our needs and requests.
Excellent food at Verbena restaurant, both in terms of quality, taste and presentation.
It started to snow the day we arrived. The Burgenstock turned into a winter wonderland with spectacular views.
Great spa. It was a treat to appreciate the snow falling while enjoying the hot outdoor pool:-)
Free tickets for the furnicular and boat to Lucerne was a plus.
