Attentive staff in a luxuriously appointed hotel and rooms. Very good with kids. Their room had special treats for them etc. Made the stay feel very special. The spa and pool was a lovely surprise.

Good Ibis Hotel close to the center of Lausanne. Room is clean, bathroom was a real bathroom, not a plastic box like in many other Ibis budget hotels. Beds were comfortable, personel nice and friendly. Wlan was good and breakfast buffet a good mix of tasty things (breakfast buffet available from 6am to 12am). I booked a special offer at booking.com with breakfast.

The Swiss Wine by Fassbind faces the Lausanne's impressive Gothic Cathedral and is only a few steps away from the city's major shopping district.

Great location and stuff. The room was very comfortable. Everything I needed was provided. Very easy to get to. 2 metro stations were very close by ! I had a great view from the window and the balcony was definitely a plus !

The Hotel Continental was originally built for the 1964 Swiss National Exhibition in Lausanne and was recently refurbished, modernized and enlarged.

Beautiful circular building, lobby is impressive with fauna and decor. The rooms were modern style very appealing to the eye and provided a fantastic nights sleep. We had an inward facing room and the view over the outdoor seating area was brilliant. The hotel itself is a short (but steep!) walk from the main Lausanne train station (which is also just across the road from the metro entrance, a funicular railway that spans from the bottom, lake side Ouchy- Olympique all the way up some 700m Croisettes). Therefore a very accessible hotel from public transport, but caution to those short of breath. Very kind and helpful staff, also. I was sad to only be staying one night! Would highly recommend to others.
