Location was perfect. A quick tram ride to the Christmas markets and back right at the door. Staff advised perfectly the transport and the local boulangeries which we love. The reception area has a good seating area to enjoy a wine or coffee at any time.

The Hotel Alexander is located right at the Messe Basel fairgrounds and the Congress Centre, a 7-minute ride from the centre of Basel. The tram stop is right outside. Free Wi-Fi is available.

The room exceeded all my expectations: The spacious layout and stylish, modern design create a feeling of home A huge, comfortable bed with premium bedding – I slept like a baby Panoramic windows with stunning views of the city or nature (depending on the hotel's location) Impeccable cleanliness throughout the room Thoughtful details: plenty of outlets, excellent lighting, a comfortable work area But the main thing is the exceptional service. The staff anticipates all desires and resolves any issues instantly. You really feel like an important guest. The hotel's location is also ideal – just a stone's throw from all the attractions and transport. Over the years of traveling, I've stayed in many hotels, but this is definitely in my personal top 3. I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates comfort and quality service!

The hotel has a great location, near the tram station or 15 min walking to acces the Mittlere Brucke. The room was very clean, you have everything you need for a short trip to Basel. I recommend this place, it's worth for the price.
