Hotels in Gries, Graz

When I arrived at the hotel, the property had provided all the information in English beforehand. However, finding the key felt like solving a puzzle. It was a bit challenging to locate the key. There is a key box where you need to enter a code, which felt like a game. There is no parking space in front of the property to park your car temporarily. The area is blocked off with barriers. I think they could open it temporarily or designate it as a visitor parking spot, like a "Beso Parking Plot." It would have been nice to have an empty area before entering the main parking lot. Currently, there is only a very small area at the entrance of the parking lot where you can leave your car. Another strange thing is that they ask you to remove your car first and then return the parking key back to the key box. It’s very peculiar and unusual. Personally, I would have preferred a different system. For example, in other places I’ve stayed before, I locked everything, moved my car out, and finally returned the keys to the key box before leaving. That’s what I thought would happen here, but instead, they ask you to leave the key inside the house. It’s very interesting and a different management style. This is my first time in Austria. The house itself was really beautiful, very comfortable, and everything was clean and in great condition. The staff or owner of the property was very attentive and helpful, which I truly appreciated. However, there was one more thing that was quite unusual. They ask for a copy of your ID card for check-in. I believe this might be a rule or law in Graz, but I don’t know why it is required. This was the first time I’ve encountered such a practice. I suppose it could be used in fraud cases. I ended up sending a copy of my passport, and I would recommend others do the same.

Ultra-modern, clean and spacious. All facilities and fully equipped kitchen made for a great 3 night stay. Supermarkets nearby, an easy walk to the city centre, castle and clock tower. Highly recommended we would stay here again.

We had an amazing stay at this accommodation in Graz, Austria! The place is incredibly comfortable and relaxing, with modern and high-quality equipment that made us feel right at home. The owner was wonderful—very clear and helpful in all messages, explaining everything perfectly before our arrival. Having a parking space was a big plus, and overall the apartment truly exceeded our expectations. It’s a cosy, stylish, and peaceful spot, ideal for families or anyone looking for a great stay in Graz. Bravo to the owner for doing such a fantastic job—your attention to detail really shows! We felt great from the moment we arrived and highly recommend this place to everyone. We would gladly return!
