Situated just 50 metres from Voelklip Beach, Hermanus Beachfront Lodge - Solar Power offers rooms with sea or mountain views. Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas. Our room was superb with full width patio door overlooking the ocean and 2 chairs to sit and whale watch. Bed was enormous and comfy and small kitchen area was a bonus. Staff were amazing and Tito is a complete star. Receptionist,porter,chef. A pleasure to meet him. For a small place with 5 rooms breakfast was exceptional.

The Hotel is powered by an inverter and solar panels for full service during load shedding times. The rooms have lighting outside on their patio's as well as inside the rooms. The breakfast room was charming with a lovely outdoor courtyard. Breakfast was delicious.

We had a very warm welcome from Marius who is an exceptionally kind, friendly and attentive host. He took our bags and helped us which has been very rare on our travels. He explained explained everything about the villa and the surrounding area. The activities and booked us a restaurant all with enthusiasm and helpfulness. The breakfast was great, lots of fresh fruit and yogurts, different types of breads and jams and plenty of the Irish Breakfast was available ;-)) We would come back anytime.

Saxon Lodge a bed & breakfast in Gansbaai, which is known as the ideal location for shark cage diving and whale watching. Great location. Very nice and helpful hosts! The sweetest dog

We only had one night here, but we wish we had had more. The room was fabulous and the views are wonderful. We would definitely reccommend a stay here for anyone who loves the countryside and the peace and quiet.

78on5th is a boutique guest house bordering Fernkloof Nature Reserve, 5 minutes’ walk from Grotto Beach. Rooms feature private balconies with views of the mountains or the Atlantic Ocean. The property is tastefully decorated with exquisite art pieces strategically placed all around the property. The natural light that flows in from the transparent ceiling and the unexpected live piano performance in the morning what the highlight! We enjoyed the access to Netflix for a movie before bed time. Everything including kitchen appliances is good quality and condition. It was so convenient having the choice of a nearby restaurant for meals or staying in and cooking in the fully quipped kitchen. The location was perfect with less than 5min walk to the nearest supermarket and around 10min walk from the ocean and popular Hermanus Cliff path, no need for any transportation. We loved everything about our stay including our warm, friendly and welcoming hosts! We felt a bit sad to leave as we felt so at home. Will definitely be back soon.

The room was really special with many touches that we appreciated such as the mini bar, magazines, coffee pods, shower cap and fluffy extra blankets. The spotless and spacious bathroom, and the large bed made for a wonderful night. The property is quiet, with leafy trees; parking is nicely located and it is safe. Breakfast was a delight.
