The Hotel is powered by an inverter and solar panels for full service during load shedding times. The rooms have lighting outside on their patio's as well as inside the rooms. The breakfast room was charming with a lovely outdoor courtyard. Breakfast was delicious.

Amazing place. Clean, tidy, cozy and comfortable. Bed and bedding were amazing. Bathroom clean and nice towels. Enough tells for my family of 4. Better that a hotel. Rooms were very clean. Saxon Lodge a bed & breakfast in Gansbaai, which is known as the ideal location for shark cage diving and whale watching. My stay at Saxon Lodge was fantastic! The location offers beautiful ocean views and is just a 5-minute drive from the shark cage diving launch site, making it perfect for anyone doing the diving. The lodge is cozy, well-maintained, and has a peaceful atmosphere. The hosts were welcoming and provided excellent local recommendations. A perfect spot for anyone visiting Gansbaai—highly recommended!

Just 300 metres from the oceanfront, the 4-star Nautilus Guest House is a thatched residence with a seasonal outdoor pool and stylish rooms. Its staff can arrange whale watching and shark-cage diving.... It was very nice to come to this guesthouse with a group of nine people. We received a warm welcoming and the rooms were excellent. Great location and good breakfast. We would not hesitate to stay there again and enjoy this nice guesthouse. Thank you!

78on5th is a boutique guest house bordering Fernkloof Nature Reserve, 5 minutes’ walk from Grotto Beach. Rooms feature private balconies with views of the mountains or the Atlantic Ocean. The view was amazing and the rooms were so beautiful and Jose was amazing!
