There is bathroom lighting and strong wifi signal in the rooms when there is loadshedding. Well managed, friendly workers from garden up to bar.

It’s also near the harbor where boats leave for whale-watching tours. The owners are very helpful and can provide information on the best places to watch whales, see fishermen in action, or explore nearby caves. Don’t hesitate to book a tour with Nicola, the guest house owner – she’s very easy to communicate with. There’s also a restaurant nearby, and the breakfast is amazing. Thank you for everything

Saxon Lodge a bed & breakfast in Gansbaai, which is known as the ideal location for shark cage diving and whale watching. The lodge features a splash pool and uninterrupted views of Gansbaai harbour, Walker Bay and the Hottentots Holland Mountains. We stayed here overnight after our whale watching boat trip. Tranquail place overlooking the bay. The staff, the manager and the owner were super friendly and welcoming. The family suite was comfortable, open to the property little garden and swimming pool. It would have been an even lovelier place in summer. Wish we could stay longer

Just a step away from the famous Hermanus Cliff Paths, Bamboo has elegantly decorated rooms with hand crafted bamboo furniture. All rooms have a flat-screen satellite TV, a seating area and a work desk. This was our first stop along the Garden Route and the hotel was perfectly located. Just across the street was an access to the coastal walk from where you can walk into town for dinner which takes about 30 min. The room was clean and comfortable with nice views in both directions. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, for our anniversary the even gave us a little gift which was a lovely touch. The breakfast was excellent as well. :)

Kapensis Guesthouse offers accommodation with a touch of African style within a natural reserve, just outside Pringle Bay. It features its own 1 km hiking trail through Cape fynbos, windsurfing and cycling facilities.

Guests can relax with a book from the in-house library, order drinks at the bar or experience authentic outdoor braai barbecues in the gardens. WiFi access is free throughout the property. We only had one night here, but we wish we had had more. The room was fabulous and the views are wonderful. We would definitely reccommend a stay here for anyone who loves the countryside and the peace and quiet.

All of the spacious guest bedrooms at 78on5th in Hermanus have a TV with movie channels, a hairdryer and an en suite bathroom. In addition, all rooms have a refrigerator, hot drink facilities and a microwave. The view was amazing and the rooms were so beautiful and Jose was amazing!
