The Hotel is powered by an inverter and solar panels for full service during load shedding times. The rooms have lighting outside on their patio's as well as inside the rooms. There is bathroom lighting and strong wifi signal in the rooms when there is loadshedding. The breakfast room was charming with a lovely outdoor courtyard. Breakfast was delicious.

Each room at the White Shark is decorated in a mix between rustic and contemporary, including exposed brick walls and modern furniture. They all offer a private bathroom, and some come also with a spa bath. The guest house is nicely located in Kleinsbaai, there is even a small convenience store just in front. The view from the balcony is beautiful and the room was super clean! One of my activities (shark cage diving) was cancelled last minute due to weather conditions and they helped me to try rebooking something else. Highly recommend overall :)

Just a step away from the famous Hermanus Cliff Paths, Bamboo has elegantly decorated rooms with hand crafted bamboo furniture. All rooms have a flat-screen satellite TV, a seating area and a work desk. The breakfast was amazing. The location is perfect, close to town if you want to walk in but far enough that it is not too noisy. 400 meters from the beautiful cliff path walk. The staff are all very welcoming, especially Teressa who helped us to book a Whale Watching tour last minute when ours was cancelled and provided us with great recommendations for local routes and markets for our onward journey. The beds were very comfortable and the shower had excellent pressure.

All rooms at the Nautilus Guest House have deep-soaking bath tubs and are elegantly decorated featuring dark wood furniture and carpeted floors. Some rooms come with private balconies. Location is perfect, few minutes walking from old harbour where plenty of restaurants shops and cafes can be found. New harbour is just a short drive (5 min or less) for whale watching tours. Breakfast was delicious and host was great. Room was spacious comfortable and clean. Totally recommended to spend few relaxing days exploring Hermanus and surroundings or just relaxing at the swimming pool.

All of the spacious guest bedrooms at 78on5th in Hermanus have a TV with movie channels, a hairdryer and an en suite bathroom. In addition, all rooms have a refrigerator, hot drink facilities and a microwave. This was a great location in Hermanus. Although it was a couple of kilometers from the town center, it was easy to go there in our hire car to have a boat trip in the sea. However, our location was very suitable, as it was a fairly short walk to the nice local beaches, providing a long walk at the waterfront, with a couple of local restaurants. Behind the apartment was a direct walk up the mountain, with some wonderfull views of the sea and mountains. The room was large, with a seperate comfortable bedroom, large bathroom, large kitchen area and a nice place to sit outside our room. Although they could make breakfast, it was just as convenient for us to make our own breakfast and eat outside with a great view. Also, there is a very good food shop very close by, so we bought all we wanted to eat.

Delightful hosts Vivianne and Jan came to Swellendam from the Netherlands 6 years ago to take over this quaint lodge. They’ve transformed the 1880’s Manor House into a welcoming place for guests to check in, hang out and have a cup of coffee or tea, play games, look at books, and gather for the wonderful made-to-order breakfast they serve. This hidden gem of a place, just off the highway (R60) and only minutes from the center of town, has only 6 rooms, is solar powered, and is set amongst a beautiful, lush garden. The room was lovely, had a large bathroom with both a shower and a tub, and had an outlet near a mirror in the bedroom so one can do their hair. (There are no electric outlets in bathrooms in South Africa.) This was the only time in our three weeks in South Africa, that we had a hair dryer. Along with your room key, you get a driveway gate opener. One needn’t worry about safety here. I wish we had planned more time to just hang out.
