Situated at the base of the wild Tsitsikamma Mountains, The Fernery overlooks an impressive 30-metre waterfall in the Sanddrift River gorge. Upon entering reception, we were warmly greeted and efficiently checked in. After that, we had a personal tour around the property and then were shown our wonderful chalet. The deck is large and has a fabulous view of the canyon forest. The bed is comfortable. The bathing area is AMAZING. The restaurant staff is excellent, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu and the area. The food is great! We already have it in mind for our next visit to the Storms River area!

Beautiful room and shared areas, right on the beach, delicious breakfast and really friendly staff and owner. Service 12 out of 10 points ;-) Would definitely be back.

The country-style suites are elegantly decorated and feature under-floor heating, a sofa and air conditioning. It includes a desk, safe and en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower. Some suites offer a view of the Knysna lagoon. Loved almost everything about it. The “cottage” style of the room, the attention of the staff, the view from the room. Everything was perfect at our stay. And Knysna is a very lovely town. The manager (I think), Mr. JH, welcomed us and helped us with every doubts we had.

Falcons View Manor is 1 km from Knysna Harbour, where you can rent a boat and explore the Knysna National Lakes Area. The hotel is 5 km from Simola Golf Club, which was designed by the great Jack Nicklaus. A beautiful house high about the city, a nice place to relax. The terrace has a wonderful view over Knysna. A rich breakfast is serviced in the garden. The staff is great and very welcoming! Definitely recommend!
