Situated at the base of the wild Tsitsikamma Mountains, The Fernery overlooks an impressive 30-metre waterfall in the Sanddrift River gorge. The deck area boasts a cocktail bar and free WiFi is available throughout. Wow, what an amazing experience to stay at The Fernery. This is one of the places we will remember for a long time. The setting of the hotel was fantastic. The Jacuzzi and Hot Tub ambiance also fantastic. The breakfast by wide margin the best in South Africa. Dinner was also very good and fairly priced.

Head over Hills is an exclusive retreat in Knysna. Set on the jagged edge of the famous rocky cliffs of the Knysna Heads, this well-appointed guest house has a heated swimming pool.

Each room here will provide you with a TV, air conditioning and a private balcony. There is also a small SMEG fridge in the room, and the en suite bathroom is fitted with a bath and a shower. You can enjoy a sea view from each room, while other rooms also offer a mountain view. The staff there is very friendly and always helping

The staff were exceptional (thank you, Dee and Michelle), and the rooms were top-class, with comfortable beds and fresh, clean linen. Kitchen appliances were a helpful convenience, and small touches like beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, etc... made our trip most memorable. The views from the rooms are absolutely amazing, and the restaurant below adds a great holiday vibe!

Our stay at Dune Beach House was amazing! The location is stunning, right on the beach with breathtaking ocean views. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. We can’t wait to come back—highly recommended!

Offering an outdoor pool and a cosy lounge and bar, Parkes Manor is a classic, historical house located within 2 km from the Knysna Waterfront.

The country-style suites are elegantly decorated and feature under-floor heating, a sofa and air conditioning. It includes a desk, safe and en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower. Some suites offer a view of the Knysna lagoon. Amazing hotel. Room was lovely and spacious, staff were so helpful and breakfast was really tasty. Beautiful views of the lagoon from the hotel. Great location, quick 15 min walk to the waterfront.

The rooms at Turbine Hotel & Spa are elegantly decorated with light fabrics and parquet floors. The suites have a satellite LCD TV and extra long beds. Great adaptation of turbine station to hotel. Great location. Everyone so helpful and nice.

Falcons View Manor is 1 km from Knysna Harbour, where you can rent a boat and explore the Knysna National Lakes Area. The hotel is 5 km from Simola Golf Club, which was designed by the great Jack Nicklaus. The Manor House is stunning and a lovely place to stay. Sue and Danelle were very warm and welcoming, the rooms are very spacious and classy and the view over Knysna is wonderful. Breakfast was delicious and the dinner was exceptional. A we'll managed venue and although it was very brief, we were always made to feel very welcome and we really enjoyed our short stay.
