Rooms at The Oystercatchers Haven combine old world charm decor with modern design. Each comes with a verandah or balcony, en-suite bathroom, satellite TV, tea-and-coffee making facilities and refrigerator. This is one of my favourite places to stay in the entire South Africa. The boutique hotel is seamless, service warm and professional, room spacious and elegant. What makes it special, though, is its position straight on the beach, offering breathtaking views, specially at sunset.

Located in Darling, in a historic building, 1.1 km from Darling Golf Club, Darling Lodge Guest House is a recently renovated guest house with an outdoor swimming pool and garden. The property features garden and quiet street views, and is 5.5 km from Tienie Versveld Reserve. This 3-star guest house offers private entrance. On a quiet street, with a lovely garden, well appointed rooms, great breakfast in a garden building.

Windtown, a resort situated in Langebaan along the West Coast, features a water sports centre providing SUP boards and kite surfing equipment rentals and lessons.

Each air-conditioned room has a pool view. It comes equipped with a TV and the private bathroom has a shower and free toiletries. The TVs come equipped with satellite limited channels and you can also use a HDMI & USB if you want to view your own programs. The hotel is very nice and well located! The personnel is very kind. Breakfasts are delicious! Will come back

The ah! Guest House is situated in the fisherman’s village of Paternoster, 6 km from Cape Columbine Lighthouse. It features air-conditioned rooms with and free WiFi in the rooms and public areas.

Most of the rooms at the guest house are loft rooms, located upstairs. All rooms are soundproofed and artistically decorated. Each features a bathroom with toiletries, bathrobes and slippers. Every room comes with a small seating area, an electric kettle and a mini-fridge. Fantastic welcome from Arnold Hoon. We were given a lovely bedroom upstairs with great facilities facing the veld. It had all the amenities needed from gorgeous fragrant toiletries to coffee and tea-making facilities; all well-spaced and compact. On the same level, we shared a charming terrace with other guests to have sundowners enjoying a view of the sea and beach. The ah! Guest Lodge is only about 150 metres from the sea. Safe parking outside and is within walking distance of restaurants and some shops. We had great assistance with our flat car battery. Although we had to leave very early the next day, we delved into a fabulous fresh fruit breakfast and coffee. Good value. What a charming arty guest house. Loved it! We would certainly stay here again and stay longer.

Located in the heart of Paternoster and overlooking the tranquil bay, nearby restaurants and the local waterfront. There is self-catering which comes fully equipped with crisp linen, cutlery, crockery, pots and pans in a fully fitted kitchen with tea-and-coffee-making facilities, and barbecue on the outdoor patio. Great views of the ocean from the house. Beach was about 100m away and also very close to the Paternoster Waterfront. They provide a nespresso machine , all other equipment's looks new , the house was extremely clean. Love the bathroom with his and hers sink, and a huge shower. Very good wifi signal. The bed and pillows were perfect. Super friendly staff.

With sea or garden views, the rooms at Le Mahi B&B and Guest House offer a flat-screen TV an a bathroom with shower. Some of the rooms also have a bath. Stunning little property. The manager was absolutely lovely throughout the stay and everything I needed was available. Looking forward to going back again.

Oystercatcher Villa is an ideal base from which to explore the West Coast and its hinterland. Spend quiet hours reading at the pool or have an espresso in the comfortable lounge. All guest rooms are facing the sea, enabling you to experience spectacular sunrises and sunsets from your private veranda. Everything was great as as others have said. But I want to point out to potential future guests how perfectly orientated this property is. Because it faces north it gets the best of the sun during the day without blinding sunsets, so you really can enjoy the view all day long. Plus it is well protected from the infamous Cape southeaster wind. The proximity of a rocky outcrop provides the added visual interest of waves breaking and birds gathering. There is direct access to the lovely shoreline path with its local flora (some with nicely annotated name tags) and birdlife. Apart from the marine animals (seals, dolphins) and birds (including the distinctive African Black Oystercatcher, of course) we were delighted by an apparently semi-resident tortoise and visits by guinea fowl and a steenbok.

Paternoster Place offers self-catering accommodation in a quiet private road and just 3 minutes' walk from the beach. Centrally located, the property is within walking distance to restaurants.

The units will provide you with a patio, BBQ facilities and seating area. Most of them have kitchen facilities and a TV. This stay was fantastic. It's perfectly situated to be able to walk to the beach and down the main street to restaurants and shops. The room was very spacious, clean with everything you would need.. we really enjoyed our stay.
