Although not easy to find on foot they gave you a street map which helped a lot to get your bearings in the old quarter of Hanoi. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It is very close to Hanoi cathedral and Kiem Lake and it was great to walk round the bustling streets. Reception organised a private 4 hour jeep tour around the good and bad areas of Hanoi which was amazing, and they gave us a discount.

An excellent location near the lake, on a quiet street, my room was comfortable and a great place to start my visit in Hanoi. But what bowled me over was the staff. I've never experienced such a polite and friendly staff, always willing to go the extra mile. Both at reception and in the restaurant. Each morning being greeted so kindly by the restaurant staff, made me feel so welcome and at home. They are above and beyond anything I've ever experienced at a hotel, and they made it a wonderful stay.
