We had a very great stay at Bahab guesthouse. Cem and his wife are wonderful hosts, making you easily feel comfortable and relaxed. The room is beautifully furnished, good bed. Nice place to sit outside, in sun or shade. Breakfast was great with home made marmelades, and lovely fried eggs and the Turkish specialities. Cem offers several suggestions for good food (great restaurant with Turkish kitchen in the village, and interesting places in direct or further environment. We planned to stay 2 days but decided to come back for a few more days on this special spot. The guesthouse is located in a beautiful environment: a little village looking over the former sea, in antique times, now totally sanded. From the guesthouse you can make visits to the most beautiful antique places in Western Turkey: Epheses, of course, but also beautiful Milete, on walking distance from the guesthouse: Priene, and also on less than an hour drive, several less well known but well kept secrets from antique times.

Definitely suggest Gaia to everyone…. Also definitely suggest coming to Alacati off-season to everyone….

Also very close to the local mosque so you can pray Juma there if you find yourself here on Friday, or any other salat/namaz is also nice to go and check out the local mosque.

A small private beach has both sunny and shady parts with comfortable sunbeds, some watersports stuff, and enough space to accomodate the guests, not all in the same time though, if the hotel was completely full. The garden is really nice, with a lot of beautiful trees, blossoming plants and touching pretty curiosities used for decoration. Buffet breakfast is versatile, quite tasty and more convenient (for me) than service to table - you choose what and as much as you want. The drinks at the bar are fine but a bit pricy. The adjasent restaurant offers quality dishes and wine, and this is a good option for dining without going to the city. Osman, the hosting manager, is very caring and responsive to every request, and all the staff is diligent and helpful.
