The resort is in a fairly remote location, so it's extremely quiet with natural surroundings. The sea was clearer than at Ban Krood beach and you can walk for at least 30 minutes in either direction and hardly see another soul. The resort has a very large and attractive and picturesque swimming pool. There is a fitness room, there are free bicycles and there are scooters available to rent. The staff are friendly and kind. The quality of Thai food at the restaurant is good. They picked me up from Ban Krood train station and dropped me off at my next resort in Ban Krood free of charge. My last night happened to be Christmas eve, and the staff laid out a beautiful Christmas dessert buffet for everyone free of charge, and Santa Claus himself showed up to entertain and give everyone a gift (I got a complimentary cocktail of my choice).
