This place is just perfect. Out of the chaos but still close enough to get anywhere comfortably. Moonlight, the owner, is the nicest lady, always ready to help in case you need anything. Really really good value for money. And a good variety of choices of accomodation: from Dorm, to single rooms with shared bathroom, from single rooms with private bathroom, to private bungalows. I recommend Ananas Hostel to anyone coming to Koh samui and looking for a little hidden gem, because that is what this hostel is.

This place feels like an oasis. It's surprisingly calm once you enter the garden of the property, especially as it's located on a main road. It's easy to walk to the Fisherman's market and the beach, and there's off-street parking if you hire a car or moped. I was travelling by public transport and on foot. The gate is locked at night and I felt very safe inside the property grounds and in the neighbourhood. Hospitality: I arrived early, just as there was a heavy downpour. I made myself comfortable in the reception area and accidentally fell asleep on the sofa after an exhausting trip. Mimi kindly woke me up with a fresh coconut to drink from, which was incredibly refreshing and I was so grateful for the wonderful hospitality. Room: The room was spectacular and the bathroom was huge. Everything was incredibly clean and I couldn't have wished for a more comfortable stay. There was a mini fridge in my room, where I kept some snacks, and I was given small bottles of water each day. Pool: The pool is small but it was very refreshing and I was able to swim a little but I would say it's more for bathing than exercise. There were comfortable sun loungers and the pool area is quiet and calm. Restaurant: I didn't try the restaurant on the property because I had a few local restaurants I wanted to check out, but the menu looked enticing. There is no breakfast at this property, it's more like self-catering with a restaurant option. However, there is a great café on the corner of the street. I was contacted by Mimi from the property in advance of my stay to warn me of a local festival that would be happening during my stay, which would be very noisy. I appreciated the warning as it was very loud.

The service here is world class. The manager makes sure you feel safe and will guide you with all the questions you have. The property is luxurious and beautiful. I want to thank Paradise Island for giving me 2 wonderful nights, thank you!!!

The Staff was amazing. So friendly and excellent service. Room was clean, cosy and had nice acsess to everyting. The pool area was clean and realy cool lounge-place to hang out. The fact that they have only 14 rooms did that it was warm and friendly, easy to get new friends. The food in restaurant was fresh, nice and they never was out of enything. This place is the absolutley one of the best places we have been to, and we have been traveling a lot. Its close to the beach, and just a 10 min walk to the busy-places. I will recomand this place to all of you, i promise you will have a good holiday 😍

Don't be put off by the somewhat unassuming street entrance. Inside you will find a large beautiful garden. The rooms are large and furnished with taste and originality. Equipped with every feature. The couple who own the resort are truly delightful. Excellent cost-benefit ratio.
