we had a lovely visit to Poprad and the Tatra mountains and enjoyed staying at this comfortable cosy apartment. The apartment is clean and has everything you need for cooking with shops close by. The garden too is lovely . Would have no hesitation in recommending this for stay in Poprad. Zdenka who manages the apartment was warm and welcoming.

The hotel is an oasis in a rather depopulated area. The object is clean and modern. A family runs the business and it appears that the emphasis on taking care of guests is multi-generational. I was on a cycling tour and after 100 hilly km, I arrived very hungry. However, there are no restaurants in the town. Not even a gas station sandwich! The young receptionist/bartender/ all job titles, went out of her way to help. First, we tried to get a pizza delivered from a neighboring city but they did not accept credit cards. No problem, she offered to pay from her private account and I could transfer her the funds. However, we learned the pizzeria demands a minimal order of 3 pizzas for delivery of over 30 km and I wasn't THAT hungry! I was resigned to eating chips and candy bars. Then the young woman had a brainstorm and contacted her boss (i.e. her mom) to see if I could have a very early breakfast for dinner. This person went out of her way and I think the Ritz-Carlton should recruit her for a concierge position. Great parking for my bike, I left at 05:00 and it was good not to force someone to open a garage.

There is a fabulous hair salon at this hotel. We got a fabulous professional specialized scalp cleansing hair treatment done by the even more fabulous hairdresser Julia Findrikova. So peaceful, relaxing and enjoyable. This salon is a bonus to this hotel. We would highly recommend going there.

Clean and quiet hotel. Well preserved and thoughtfully designed. With a nice Cafe and a very good breakfast. The apple pie was delicious. Although the rooms do not have any air conditioning, we thought that that was actually a good thing. At beginning the room was hot but leaving the windows open for 30 min or so fixed that issue. Plus you do not have the constant noise of the AC and the unhealthy air produced by them. Further a AC unit in the room would not be very fitting. The furnishing was well selected. The staff was very friendly. You could really imagine the splendour of the past empire time.

Very clean, well equipped kitchen shared by guests that stay in separate rooms in two floors. We stayed two nights in summertime, it was quiet, barely noticed the other guests staying in the house. The area was nice and quiet as well, with beautiful views to the meadows and hills from the house. The host was very nice and helpful :)
