All rooms are modernly decorated and each room has a different design. Room amenities include a flat-screen cable TV, a minibar and a laptop safe. Each bathroom comprises a hairdryer and either a bathtub or a shower. The room was excellent. The breakfast was excellent. The staff was excellent.

The breakfast was a la carte rather than a buffet and was really excellent. Beautifully presented. However the staff were really excellent. Friendly, knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. They gave us tailored and appropriate suggestions for our trip!

A rich buffet breakfast is served each morning. Almost everything. From check-in, the staff was kind and helpful, and the lobby was large. I arrived early, but I was able to easily store my luggage so that I could explore Ljubljana. The room was fairly large, and had everything I needed. The whole hotel felt well-maintained and clean. I had a nice view of Ljubljana castle from my room. Shower was decent and had good water pressure. The bed was also comfortable, although it was two twins pushed together, instead of one large bed. But I liked the duvet and pillows. The staff was also helpful when I asked about transit options to Lake Bled, and also to my next destination. The location is good, with easy access to the historic downtown area, lots of good restaurants and cafes, and a relatively short walk from the train/bus station (maybe 5-10 minute walk, depending on if you have luggage or if there is ice on the ground, as there was when I visited in January) Breakfast was free and very good!! Buffet style with lots of options for everyone. Overall, and considering the price-point of this hotel, it is an excellent choice.

Set next to the Main Bus and Railway Stations, Boutique Apartments offers elegantly decorated and fully equipped units fitted with free WiFi. The centre of Ljubljana is 1.5 km away. Free on-site parking is available. Comfortable, clean well equipped and cozy apartment although it is a few steps below ground level it is still well lit and has lovely windows overlooking the garden. The garden also has a nice sitting area. The host is very friendly and very helpful. We can definitely come back without hesitation.

Coffee, cocktails and snacks can be enjoyed in the on-site bar with a large terrace. A garden and a children’s playground are at guests' disposal. Everything was perfect. The staff were so nice and helpful. We had to leave earlier than planned and they were able to adjust. When we arrived they had a parking spot reserved for us which was super nice because it was really busy Sunday afternoon. Make sure to enjoy some drinks at the terrace bar. The atmosphere was cozy and the waiter was really friendly.

Located in the very heart of the Old Town pedestrian zone and overlooking the river, Meščanka is just a minute’s walk from Prešernov Square and nestled below the Castle. A peaceful hideaway in the center, Meščanka blends clean, modern design with warm touches of traditional furniture. Central in the old historic town, close to restaurants and shops and nightlife. The double glazed windows meant that it was super quiet and we got a great sleep! Easy check in/check out, good communication with hosts (who even had facilities for us to do some washing!). Would definitely stay again
